A New Year, A New You

I say this at the beginning of every year, but it is hard to believe that 2009 is already here. And with the start of every New Year, comes a list of resolutions and “to-dos,” and to help make the starting point a bit easier, I have come up with 30 Top Organizing Tips for 2009. I will be posting a tip a day during January and offering product ideas to make the tip useful and successful.

So in hopes that this year will bring great things and be filled with happiness for you and your family, the Top 30 Tips will give you a running start on getting decluttered and organized.

Tip #1:

Set Your Goals. Include a list of projects or rooms and areas (i.e. the junk drawer) that you want to change in 2009. Also, try to make a plan on how to accomplish your goals and get things checked off the to-do list. Without a plan, your goals are just a dream.

My Favorite Thing:

Valentine’s Day is almost here and to help get in a festive mood, I just love the Hearts Door Mat from Tag. It is a fun way to greet my guests, and with just a quick shake, it is easy to clean and keeps out excess dust, dirt and leaves.
