How to Lose Your Clutter Tip#9

#9 Family Central is a must.

Create an area for keeping track of upcoming homework assignments, school project due dates, practice & game schedules, dentist and doctor appointments or anything else you need help to remember. Cork boards, magnetic dry-erase boards and calendars help keep the family organized and on schedule.

How to Lose Your Clutter Tip#8

Tip#8 Sort it…file it…organize it!

Keep any office, workspace or kitchen clutter free by sorting & filing bills, catalogs, coupons, homework or items that need to be saved as they arrive. File folders help keep important items from being mixed in with the junk mail and accidentally getting thrown away.

How to Lose Your Clutter Tip#7

Tip#7 Divide and Contain

Drawer organizers can help keep clutter at bay by separating school supplies, batteries, pens, paper clips, rulers, tape and scissors. Try using Tie & Sock organizers for undergarments as well. Remember, the key to ‘neat’ is to keep it contained!

How to Lose Your Clutter Tip#6

Tip#6 Hang Clutter Out to Dry!

Take advantage of doors and cabinets. Over the Door Organizers can help de-clutter and give you more space where you need it most. Whether it’s the kitchen cabinets, hall closets or bathroom doors, finding ways to utilize this space makes a big difference and goes a long way to helping you get and stay organized.

The age old question is where do you put your dish or hand towel to dry?  The solution is the Over the Cabinet Towel Bar; which happens to be a Mrs. O favorite and “a must” in every home.

How to Lose Your Clutter Tip#5

Tip#5 Label, Label, Label

Labeling baskets, boxes, bins and shelves clearly helps the whole family locate storage areas and put things back in their proper place.  You’d be surprised how using a simple labeling system will help kids keep their toys, books, and crayons organized and put away. You’ll even watch those Legos and Matchbox Cars disappear to their designated spaces!

How to Lose Your Clutter Tip#4

Tip#4: Go Vertical!

Get maximum usage of the space at the top of your closet. There’s no rule for using one box per shelf. Try two! Storage bins and baskets are the key to mastering what little or limited space you may have.

These stylish woven storage bins are perfect for storing all your valuable belongings and they can be stacked on top of each other to maximize your storage space.

Happy Organizing!
