Enjoying the holidays with friends and familyIs it possible that Thanksgiving was 22 days ago and that Christmas is one-week away? Seriously…how did that happen? I’ve promised myself that I am going to keep an attitude that whatever gets done – will get done and we will live without the rest. I have lists going for some small gifts I still need, (Okay – so, maybe a little crazy – but I actually used and excel spreadsheet this year!), the groceries, the bakery, for linens and things that need to be pressed, our Holiday Open House list, and then a list for the last minute things I need to buy to decorate the table. Yes, I think it’s safe to say that I’m in pretty good shape. I am a total sap when it comes to the Holidays and I love, love, love to give. This year won’t be any different and I am officially deep into the spirit and loving every minute. If Christmas is anywhere near as fun as Thanksgiving Day was, I know it will be wonderful. We are looking forward to the whole family being around the table this year and that…is truly special. Here’s the Kodak moment we captured on Thanksgiving day with the Friedman’s and Peterson’s:
Oh and I just have to show you Little Miss Hadley modeling her Snowman Apron & Mitt from Auntie and Uncle Terry. The child is truly beyond her years. She and Aubrey can put a smile on your face in a flash! Remember to make and take time for yourself this season to enjoy the friends and family around you. You can’t re-create moments. Happy Holidays!
