Meet Mrs. Organized

Meet Deborah Shearer, a.k.a. Mrs. Organized. As your host, she has created a place for her guests to meet others, share their thoughts, advice, stories and lifestyles. The Mrs. Organized Network will cover topics that include home, fashion, entertaining, travel, parenting, cooking, the latest hot topic (go green!) or special occasions, such as wedding and baby.  We promise there will always be something for you. We hope you will visit us often and have some fun along the way. We’ll also offer tips and advice on how to organize any part of your life, because after all…”organization is a lifestyle”!

Deborah Shearer is Editor in Chief and Founder of Mrs. Organized. While she began her career in Sales and Marketing more than 20 years ago, she has taken a giant step toward her passion for Marketing and concentrates solely on the Organize.com brand. She also writes, oversees and approves all content for Mrs. Organized.

Born and raised in upstate New York, Shearer moved to California in 1982. She began her career in Sales, representing gift, stationery and tabletop companies. From there, she went on to design and manufacture Children’s Clothing under her own label. In the early 1990’s, she pursued a career in Sales Management and spent twelve years in the Storage and Organization category, followed by six years in the Craft Industry. She worked with retailers such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Walmart, Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Staples, Home Depot, Lowes, Michaels and Joann Stores.

In the fall of 2006, Deborah married Terry Shearer (President and Founder of Organize.com). It made sense that she would join the Company full-time and bring her passion and experience for Marketing and Merchandising along with her.

With her experience, knowledge of the storage and organization industry, along with understanding the needs of the Organize.com Customer, Shearer now heads up all Marketing and Merchandising efforts at Organize.com. Her daily activities include reinforcing the two company tag lines, “Clean. Neat. Easy.” and “Organization as a Lifestyle”, to both Customers and Employees.

In her spare time, Shearer enjoys writing, reading, crafts, cooking, shopping, her two children and traveling with husband, Terry.
